Here are the points you will need to consider when looking at an in-ground or partial in-ground installation:
- You will want to have a perimeter drain and a sump pump to avoid any groundwater seeping into your mechanical room.
- You will need to allow a 3ft minimum (4ft preferred) swing for your mechanical room doors. This area should be finished with retaining walls.
- You will need to allow for above-ground gas venting.
- If you are back-filling against your Modero Series, we recommend a vapour barrier between the Modero Series and the back-fill.

Step 1 of our process
Step 1: A submittal-ready package of modular drawings is prepared, including an engineering review and local energy calculations. This phase includes the first set of site-specific architectural drawings, which serve as the foundation for the permitting package. These drawings are shared with the local General Contractor to begin pricing discussions and establish project specifics for on site work.

Site work
As manufacturing takes place, your local general contractor prepares the site. Utilities are installed, and the foundation is prepared to specification.
A site visit by your contractor ensures the foundation and site are ready for seamless delivery and assembly. Our Assembly Team coordinates with a local crane operator to place your Pool or Sauna on its foundation, completing interior and exterior connections.

A flat and level compacted gravel pad is the minimum prep recommended. Ideally, concrete piers or a concrete slab would be used to support the full weight of a filled container pool. Options for site prep will vary based on the location/terrain. Our team will help provide guidance for appropriate site prep. Site prep is not included in the price.
We fabricate each pool’s structural system in advance at our Manitoba manufacturing facility. The pool is then shipped directly to you on a tilted tow-bed truck. We can back the truck up to your space and Your pool is delivered on time, within budget, and built to perfection from the start.
If you don’t plan on heating the pool all winter, then the winterization process is the same as any other pool. Drain below the skimmer, plug the returns, open all the drain plugs on the mechanicals, and possibly blow water out of all the plumbing.
Production time is between 4 to 12 weeks, depending on the current production-queue and the season. Order as soon as possible to get the process started and save any delay on getting your pool installed before summer.
Installation is simple. Container Pools will work with your local contractors. We will advise them on the correct installation requirements. Regarding ground preparation, the most cost-effective route is a gravel pads with concrete footings so you pool won’t shift or sink once it’s filled with water. Other options include concrete piles, screw piles, or a concrete foundation.
